V rámci diplomové práce byla provedena analýza rozměrů a zdravotního stavu nohou diabetiků a analýza parametrů jejich obuvi.
Prokázalo se, že používání rozměrově a konstrukčně nevhodné obuvi je u diabetiků velmi časté. Zvláště závažné bylo zjištění, že se tato problematika týká také pacientů s neuropatickým postižením nohou.
Dále byl prokázán negativní vliv zvýšeného BMI, pokročilé doby diabetu a vyššího věku na stav nožní klenby a na změny obvodů prstních kloubů ve stavu zatíženém a nezatíženém.
Studie naznačila, že zjištěné rozdíly mezi bulharskými a českými diabetiky jsou statisticky významné a lze očekávat, že podobné odchylky se budou vyskytovat i u jiných národů.

Analysis of dimensions and a health condition of legs of diabetics and also analysis of parameters of their footwear were performed in frame of the dissertation.
It was found that a usage of dimensionally and constructional improper footwear is very often by diabetics. Especially serious was an assignment that the problematic concerns also of patients with a neuropathy disability of legs.
Negative influence of the increased BMI, the long term diabetes and the higher age on a condition of a leg’s vault and a change of circuits of toes joints in loaded and unloaded state were also proved.
The study shows, that find differences between diabetics feet in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria are significantly different a it is possible expected that the same effects will be occurs in other countries.
