Bakalářská práce je věnována péči o nemocné podstupující punkci ascitu. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak pacienti vnímají samotný výkon, proběhlou edukaci a jaké využívají informační zdroje. Řešení práce je postaveno na kvalitativním výzkumu. K získání informací byla využita technika polostrukturovaného nestandardizovaného rozhovoru s deseti vybranými pacienty, kteří podstoupili punkci ascitu na konkrétním interním oddělení. Z rozhovorů vyplynulo, že na konkrétním interním oddělení jsou nemocným podány informace k punkci ascitu. Rozhovory nám také pomohly nalézt oblasti, kde je možné péči a edukaci nemocných zlepšit. Mezi problematické oblasti patří poloha pacienta při punkci a lokální anestezie před punkcí. Z rozhovorů vyplynulo, že participanti na konkrétním interním oddělení by měli zájem o tištěný edukační materiál k punkci ascitu, a proto jsme se ho rozhodli vytvořit v rámci praktického výstupu práce.

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to caring for the sick undergoing a puncture of ascites. The aim of the paper was to find out how patients perceived the procedure itself, the education carried out, and what information sources they used. The solution to the work is built on qualitative research. A semi-structured, non-standardised interview technique was used to obtain the information with ten selected patients undergoing an ascites puncture in a specific internal ward. The interviews revealed that in a particular internal ward, patients are given information to punctuate the ascites. Interviews have also helped us to find areas where care and educating the sick can be improved. The patient's position during puncture and local anesthesia prior to puncture are some of the most problematic areas. The interviews showed that participants in a particular internal department would be interested in printed educational materiál to punctuate the ascites, so we decided to create it as part of the practical output of the work.
