Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku dodržování a ochrany práv dětí. Cílem je popsat postupný vývoj dětských práv až po vyhlášení Úmluvy o právech dítěte a jejich vymezení v rámci základních lidských práv, včetně specifikace jednotlivých práv dětí. V poslední kapitole jsem se zabývala celkovým hodnocením situace v dodržování práv dětí v České republice dle Organizace spojených národů. Hlavní význam bakalářské práce spatřuji ve zmapování situace v oblasti dodržování a ochraně práv dětí ve světě a identifikaci problematických a nejčastěji porušovaných dětských práv v České republice.

The Bachelor Thesis is focused on the problen;1s related to the observation and protection of children's rights. The objective is to describe the development of the children's rights up to the dec1aration ofthe Convention on the Rights ofthe Child, their definition within the framework of the fundamental human rights and the specification of the individual children' s rights. The last chapter is focused on the overall assessment ofthe (level of) ob servati on ofthe children's rights in the Czech Republic following the VN standards. The main purport of this Bachelor Thesis is in mapping out the situation of the children's rights observation and protection in the world and in identification of the most problematic and most commonly violated children's rights in the Czech Republic.
