V této bakalářské práci se soustředím na problematiku překladu turistických průvodců, týkající se terminologie, intertextuality a kultury. Teoretická část obsahuje obecný rozbor této literatury jako je žánr a typické znaky. V praktické části pak na základě vlastního překladu části vybrané knihy rozebírám některé problematické rysy tohoto textu, na které lze při překladu narazit, a jejich možná řešení.

In this bachelor thesis I focus on the problematics of the translation of the tourist guide books ? concerning terminology, intertextuality and culture. The theoretical part contains a general study of the guides, e.g. their genre and the typical features. In the analytical part, based on my own translation of a part of a chosen book, I analyse the problematic features of the text that may occur during the process of translation, and their possible solutions.
