Diplomová práce se zabývá netradičními ovocnými druhy, a to bezem černým (Sambucus
nigra L.) a kalinou jedlou (Viburnum opulus L. var. edule Marsh.). V teoretické části jsou tyto ovocné druhy popsány a obecně charakterizovány. Cílem praktické části bylo stanovit refraktometrickou sušinu, obsah organických kyselin a minerální látky u vybraných odrůd bezu černého a kaliny jedlé. Výsledky byly porovnány s ostatními druhy bobulovin a peckovin.

The diploma work deals with non-traditional fruit species which are Elderberry and European cranberrybush. The theoretical part of the thesis describes these fruit species and characterizes fruit in general. The aim of the practical part was to determine soluble solid content, titrable acidity and minerals of chosen cultivars of Elderberry and European cranberrybush. The results were compared with other species of stone fruit and berry plants.
