Tato bakalářská práce se snaží přiblížit souvislosti výkonu trestu odnětí svobody v instituci věznice. Hlavním, poznávacím cílem práce je zjistit, jaké očekávání mají zaměstnanci Vězeňské služby ČR a odsouzené ženy od vlivu penitenciárních intervencí na životní situaci žen po propuštění z věznice. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny důležité pojmy a souvislosti týkající se problematiky výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, jako jsou jeho hlavní zásady, metody a nástroje pro proces resocializace. Předloženy jsou existující teoretické koncepty zabývající se účelem a funkcí trestu a trestání i možnosti přístupů k práci s vězni v současném českém vězeňství jako k sociální práci. V metodologické části jsou interpretována získaná data vzhledem ke stanovenému poznávacímu cíli výzkumu a v závěru také naznačena doporučení jejího využití.

The bachelor work tries to get through coherences of the performance of the penal imprisonment in a prison as an institution. The main cognitive task is to find what expectations have prison workers and convict women about the influence of the penitentiary intervention on prisoners life situation after their dischargee from the prison. In the theoretical part there are defined important ideas and coherences related to problems of the performance of the penal imprisonment, they are the main principles, methods and devices to the resocialisation process. There are introduced theoretical being concepts dealing with the purpose and the function of a punishment and varied attitudes towards the work with prisoners in the contemporary Czech prison system as a social work. In the methodological part there are interpreted the acquired data about the determined cognitive aim of a research and at the end of my work there are showed work limits and suggestions for its using.
