Annotation Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vitamin D a jeho přínos pro lidskou výživu. Popisuje jeho charakteristiku, metabolismus a funkci v lidském organismu. Součástí práce je popis významu vitaminu D ve výživě, zdravotní důsledky deficitu a jeho výskyt v potravinách. Další část práce je věnována současnému stavu v příjmu vitaminu D. V poslední části je popsána fortifikace výrobků vitaminem D a sortiment produktů fortifikovaných vitaminem D dostupných na českém trhu.
Annotation in English The bachelor thesis is focused on vitamin D and its benefits for human nutrition. It de-scribes the characteristic, metabolism and functions of vitamin D in the human body. One part of the thesis describes the importance of vitamin D in nutrition, health impacts of its deficiency and the presence of vitamin D in food. Another part is dedicated to the current situation of vitamin D intake. The last part gives a description of vitamin D fortification of products and a range of these products fortified with vitamin D available on the Czech market.

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vitamin D a jeho přínos pro lidskou výživu. Popisuje jeho charakteristiku, metabolismus a funkci v lidském organismu. Součástí práce je popis významu vitaminu D ve výživě, zdravotní důsledky deficitu a jeho výskyt v potravinách. Další část práce je věnována současnému stavu v příjmu vitaminu D. V poslední části je popsána fortifikace výrobků vitaminem D a sortiment produktů fortifikovaných vitaminem D dostupných na českém trhu.

The bachelor thesis is focused on vitamin D and its benefits for human nutrition. It de-scribes the characteristic, metabolism and functions of vitamin D in the human body. One part of the thesis describes the importance of vitamin D in nutrition, health impacts of its deficiency and the presence of vitamin D in food. Another part is dedicated to the current situation of vitamin D intake.
