Diplomová práce je zaměřena na spolupráci sociálního pedagoga s rodiči, a to konkrétně v prostředí základní školy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vymezením osoby sociálního pedagoga, vymezením jeho činností v poradenské pozici, stanovením legislativy, spoluprací a komunikací sociálního pedagoga s rodiči, ale také metodami a technikami práce. Zmíněny jsou vztahy mezi školou a rodiči či negativnímu přístupu rodičů. V praktické části je zkoumána příprava na spolupráci a komunikaci sociálního pedagoga s rodiči žáků navštěvujících základní školu, samotný průběh setkávání se a práce s rodiči, důvody a témata, které jsou příčinou spolupráce a komunikace sociálního pedagoga s rodiči. Také zkoumá metody a formy práce sociálního pedagoga s rodiči. Je zmíněno i jejich očekávání v této pozici. Veškeré tyto informace byly získány pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se sociálními pedagogy, kteří působí v poradenské pozici, a to online formou.

The thesis focuses on the cooperation between social pedagogues and parents, specifically in the environment of a primary school. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of the person of the social pedagogue, the definition of his/her activities in the position of counsellor, the establishment of legislation, cooperation and communication of the social pedagogue with parents, as well as methods and techniques of work. The relations between the school and parents or the negative attitude of parents are mentioned. The practical part examines the preparation for cooperation and communication of the social pedagogue with parents of pupils attending primary school, the actual course of meeting and working with parents, the reasons and topics that cause the cooperation and communication of the social pedagogue with parents. It also examines the methods and forms of the social pedagogue with parents of pupils attending primary school, the actual course of meeting and working with parents, the reasons and topics that cause the cooperation and communication of the social pedagogue with parents. It also examines the methods and forms of the social pedagogue's work with parents. Their expectations in this position are also mentioned. All of this information was obtained through semi-structured interviews with social educators who work in a counseling position in an online format.
