Annotation Bakalářská práce se skládá z několika částí. První z nich seznamuje čtenáře s instalací a nasazením clusteringu. Další část práce se zabývá softwarovými nástroji SQL Serveru pro zvýšení dostupnosti a to zrcadlením databází a předáváním transakčních logů. Dále práce obsahuje i informace o zajištění vysoké dostupnosti pomocí hardwaru a to nástroji redundance a použitím technologií virtualizace. Poslední část práce se týká porovnání všech uvedených technologií, testy a vhodnou kombinací těchto technologií.
Annotation in English The thesis consists of several parts. The first of these introduces the reader to install and deploy clustering. Another part deals with the SQL Server software tools to improve the availability and mirroring of database and transaction log forwarding. Further work also includes information on high availability through hardware redundancy and tools and the use of virtualization technology. The last part concerns the comparison of all these technologies, tests and appropriate combination of these technologies.

Bakalářská práce se skládá z několika částí. První z nich seznamuje čtenáře s instalací a nasazením clusteringu. Další část práce se zabývá softwarovými nástroji SQL Serveru pro zvýšení dostupnosti a to zrcadlením databází a předáváním transakčních logů. Dále práce obsahuje i informace o zajištění vysoké dostupnosti pomocí hardwaru a to nástroji redundance a použitím technologií virtualizace. Poslední část práce se týká porovnání všech uvedených technologií, testy a vhodnou kombinací těchto technologií.

The thesis consists of several parts. The first of these introduces the reader to install and deploy clustering. Another part deals with the SQL Server software tools to improve the availability and mirroring of database and transaction log forwarding.
