Tato práce je zaměřena především na možnosti péče o kůži se znaky nedostatečné hydratace a na způsob, jak tento stav účinně zlepšit. První část stručně pojednává o stavbě kůže jako orgánu. Podrobnější kapitola je věnována z kosmetického a dermatologického hlediska významnější rohové vrstvě (stratum corneum) a procesům s ní spojeným. Další část popisuje význam a možné způsoby hydratace pokožky. Významná část práce je zaměřena na účinné látky podporující hydrataci pokožky. V této kapitole je zahrnut jejich fyzikálně-chemický popis, pozitivní účinky a případná rizika způsobená jejich neodborným zapracováním do receptur kosmetických prostředků, například použitím nevhodného množství.

This bachelor thesis is mainly focused on possible treatment of dehydrated skin and effective ways of improvement of this undesirable condition. The first section briefly describes the composition of skin as an organ. A more detailed chapter is devoted to the cosmetologically and dermatologically important stratum corneum and processes associated with this skin layer. Another section provides information on the significance of skin hydration and possible ways of its improvement. A significant part of this work is focused on active substances supporting skin hydration. This chapter includes their physico-chemical characterization, positive effects and possible hazards due to their improper use in formulations, e.g. in incorrect amounts.
