Annotation Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vytvoření aplikace elektronického kompasu pro určení severního zemského pólu za pomocí dat získanými tříosým akcelerometrem a magnetometrem včetně kalibrace těchto senzorů pomocí dostupných metod. Cílem práce je vytvoření aplikace získávající hodnoty s daných senzorů, jejich kalibrace a následné určení severního zemského pólu. Aplikace je vytvořena pro zařízení obsahující operační systém Android vybavenými senzory akcelerace a měření magnetického pole doplněnými o senzor určování polohy GPS pro zvýšení přesnosti.
Annotation in English This diploma thesis deals with problematice of creating an electronic compass application for determination of North Pole using data obtained by a three-axis accelerometer and magnetometer, including the calibration of the sensors using the available methods. The aim of the thesis is creating an application obtaining values with given sensors, their calibration and subsequent determination of the North Pole. The application is designed for devices with the Android operating system equipped with acceleration and magnetic fields sensors completed with GPS position sensors to increase accuracy.
