Bakalářská práce se zabývá systémem pomoci matkám s dětmi v krizové situaci v regionu města Brna. Stručně charakterizuje současnou rodinu a komplexní systém pomoci rodinám; v rámci této pomoci se zaměřuje především na sociální služby. Mapuje organizace a instituce poskytující pomoc cílové skupině v daném regionu. V praktické části se práce věnuje jednotlivým pobytovým zařízením pro matky s dětmi v tísni ve městě Brně a pokouší se o hodnocení současné situace, pokud jde o kapacitu těchto zařízení a služby v nich poskytované.

The bachelor thesis deals with the system of help to mothers with children finding themselves in a critical situation in the city of Brno. It characterizes briefly the contemporary family and the complex system of help to families, first of all the social services. It surveys organizations and institutions offering help to the target group in the region in question. In its analytical part the bachelor thesis describes individual facilities providing accommodation for mothers with children in need in the city of Brno and tries to evaluate the current situation, mainly the capacity of these facilities and the services provided by them.
