Práce se zabývá provinčním rekonstrukčním týmem České republiky a jeho činností v provincii Lógar v Afghánistánu. Popisuje jeho cíle, důvody vzniku a jeho strukturu. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou blíže rozvedeny nejdůležitější směry jeho působení, s důrazem na schopnosti a možnosti České republiky, tak jak jsou definovány dokumentem "Afghanistan Compact". Jedna kapitola práce je věnována činnosti PRT z pohledu sociální pedagogiky.

The thesis deals with the Provincial Reconstruction Team of the Czech Republic and its activities in the province of Logar (Afghanistan). It describes its aims, reasons of its formation and its structure. The most important directions of its operation, taking into consideration abilities and possibilities of the Czech Republic the way they are defined in the document of ?Afghanistan Compact? are being described in more details in particular chapters. One charter of the work pursues the PRT activities from the social pedagogical point of view.
