Annotation Campylobacter je v posledních letech stále více se rozšiřující mikroorganismus, jež způso-buje vážná onemocnění, zejména onemocnění alimentárního původu. Cílem této práce bylo charakterizovat a popsat jednotlivé druhy kampylobakterů, včetně jejich výskytu a zdrojů v přírodě a potravinách. Rovněž byly popsány nemoci a jejich komplikace způsobené kam-pylobaktery. Nakonec byly popsány možnosti identifikace kampylobakterů z prostředí a potravin klasickými plotnovými metodami a také jednou z nejvyužívanějších metod mo-lekulární biologie (PCR = polymerázová řetězová reakce).
Annotation in English In recent years, the Campylobacter is incresingly expanding microorganism, which causes serious diseases, especially diseases of alimentary origin. The aim of this study was to cha-racterize and describe particular species of campylobacters, including their prevalence and resources in nature and foodstuff. As well, diseases and their complications caused by cam-pylobacters were described. Finally, posibilities of campylobacters identification from the environment and food by classical methodsand also one of the most used method of mole-cular biology (PCR = polymerase chain reaction ) were described.
