Diese Arbeit ist dem Thema der Kultur der deutschjüdischen Bevölkerung im Raum Brünn gewidmet. Der theoretische Teil behandelt die Entwicklung der deutschjüdischen Bevölkerung in Brünn von ihren Anfängen bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg. Im theoretischen Teil ist Geschichte der Juden in der Stadt Brünn im historischen Kontext erklärt. Der praktische Teil konzentriert sich auf die Kultur der deutschjüdischen Bevölkerung im Raum Brünn. Dieser Teil analysiert das kulturelle Leben und die Traditionen der Juden in der Zeit der Ersten Republik. Die Analyse informiert auch über das kulturelle Leben der Juden auf dem Land und in der Stadt und ihre Vereine im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Weiters kann der Leser mehr über das Problem des Antisemitismus in Brünn informiert werden. Die Analyse ist durch ein heutiges Bild der jüdischen Gemeinde in Brünn ergänzt.

This thesis deals with the German-Jewish population in the Brno Region and its culture. The theoretical part is focused on the history of the German-Jewish culture in Brno from its origins until the end of World War II. The theoretical part analyses the Jewish culture in an historical context. The practical part is focused on the culture of the German-Jewish popu-lation in the Brno Region. This part provides the reader with information about the Jewish cultural life and traditions in the period of First Republic. It also analyses the cultural life of Jews in the city and in the countryside, as well as their associations in the 19. and 20. century. Another topic in this work is the problem of antisemitism in Brno. The whole analysis is completed by a picture of the current situation in the Jewish community in Brno.
