Studie se věnuje tématu přechodových rituálů, spojených s umíráním, smrtí a pohřebními obřady, v naší současné společnosti. Předkládá charakteristiku přechodových rituálů, objasňuje některé důležité pojmy z kulturní a sociální antropologie a stručně seznamuje s vývojem antropologických teorií. Zaměřuje pozornost na různé fáze procesu umírání, definování smrti a k pohledu na smrt a umírání v proměnách víry. V teoretické části je rovněž oblast, zaměřená na pohřební obřady, jejich historický vývoj a způsoby prožívání rituálů a rituálního chování ve společnosti postmoderní doby. Práce rozděluje, kvůli lepší přehlednosti, celou širokou oblast přechodových rituálů konce života, na jednotlivé dílčí skupiny, které představují rituály odloučení, rituály pomezí a rituály sloučení. Každá skupina takto rozdělených rituálů zároveň odpovídá různým fázím stavu prožívání reality.
V praktické části je věnována pozornost současnému stavu této problematiky reprezentovaná kvalitativním výzkumem podpořeným metodou retrospekce, analýzy dostupných dokumentů a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Studie si klade za cíl, pokusit se alespoň z části, zmapovat současnou situaci rituálního chování vybraných jedinců, ve vztahu k umírání, smrti a poslednímu rozloučení s blízkou osobou, a tím se pokusit dosáhnout lepšího pochopení dnešní reality v této oblasti.
Annotation in English
The study follows the theme of transitional rituals, associated with dying, death and obsequies, in our actual society. It presents the characteristics of transitional rituals; it explains several important terms from cultural and social anthropology and shortly presents the development of anthropological theories. It pays attention to different phases of dying process, to the definition of death and to the view of the death and dying during religion transformations. The theoretic part includes also the sphere of obsequies, their historic development and methods of experiencing of rituals and the ritual behaviour in the society of post-modern period. By reason of better survey, the work divides the large scope of transitional rituals of dying to the particular groups that presents the rituals of separation, rituals of limits and rituals of mergence. Every group of such divided rituals also corresponds to different stages of reality living state.
The practice part is determined for the actual state of this problem that is represented by the quality research supported by the method of retrospection, analyses of available documents and semi-structured interviews. The goal of this study, at least partially, is to map the actual situation of ritual behaviour of chosen individuals in relation to dying, death and last good-by to the close persons and thus to try to better understand the actual reality in this sphere.
