Práce se zabývá ochranou kritické infrastruktury USA. V úvodu je obecně nastíněna problematika ochrany kritické infrastruktury, její vymezení a důvody k realizaci její ochrany. Další kapitola pojednává o hrozbách, které se dotýkají právě kritické infrastruktury USA. Následuje popis organizace ochrany kritické infrastruktury, její struktura, legislativní opatření a podpůrné nástroje k realizaci ochrany. Jádrem je analýza jednotlivých sektorů kritické infrastruktury a opatření vedoucí k naplnění její ochrany. V závěru práce je nastíněn pravděpodobný vývoj v této oblasti.

This work deals with the protection of U.S. critical infrastructure. In the introduction, is generally present the problem of critical infrastructure protection, the definition and implementation of the reasons for its protection. Another chapter deals with the threats that affect the U.S. critical infrastructure. Here is a description of the organization of critical infrastructure protection, its structure, legislative action and support tools to implement protection. The core of the analysis of individual sectors of critical infrastructure and measures to meet its protection. In conclusion, the work is outlined the most likely developments in this area.
