Táto bakalárska práca je zameraná na stanovenie optimálneho objednávacieho množstva pomocou deterministického EOQ modelu riadenia zásob. Hlavným cieľom práce je snaha o zníženie celkových nákladov na skladovanie a objednávanie vo vybranej spoločnosti aplikáciou vyššie uvedeného modelu. Teoretická časť práce je spracovaná na základe odbornej literatúry. Zameriava sa na definovanie nákupu, zásob a rôznych spôsobov a metód riadenia zásob. V praktickej časti práce je predstavená spoločnosť, jej nákupná stratégia a tvorba optimálnych objednávacích dávok vo firme. Následne sú realizované výpočty v programe MS Excel. Záver práce patrí hodnoteniu získaných výsledkov a ich reálne využitie vo firme so zamestnancom firmy.

This bachelor thesis is focused on determination of optimal ordering quantity using a deterministic EOQ model of inventory management. The main goals of thesis is to reduce the total cost of storage and ordering in a selected company by applying the mentioned model above. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is processed on the basis of professional literature. It focuses on defining purchasing, inventory, and various ways and methods of inventory management. In the practical part of this thesis is an introduction of company, their purchasing strategy and creation of optimal ordering process in the company. Subsequently, calculations are performed in the MS Excel program. The conclusion of this thesis is the evaluation of the obtained result and their usage within the company by their own employees.
