Diplomová práce je zaměřena na výuku dějepisu v 9.třídách základní školy z hlediska genderu.
Obsahem teoretické části je shrnutí historického vývoje školství na území České republiky jako východisko k pochopení současnosti a dále deskripce současných právních předpisů v uvedené oblasti, které upravují stávající způsob a obsah vzdělávání.
V praktické části je provedena deskriptivní analýza učebnice dějepisu 9. třídy základní školy z hlediska genderového pojetí. Na jejím podkladě je pak uskutečněn výzkum znalostí žáků 9. tříd v oblasti známých osobností minulosti i současnosti, kterým jsou prokázány důsledky takto pojatého přístupu k výuce. Na základě zjištění jsou pak ve třetí části diplomové práce ukázány možnosti změny v přístupu k výuce z hlediska doing genderu.

The dissertation concentrates on tuition of history in 9th classes of primary schools from the point of view of the gender.
The theoretical part of the dissertation includes summary of the historical development of education in the territory of the Czech Republic as a starting point to understanding of the present and description of existing laws governing and regulating the respective area of education.
The practical part involves the descriptive analysis of textbooks of history for 9th classes of primary schools from the point of view of the gender. On grounds of this analysis the research on knowledge of pupils of 9th classes related to well-known individualities of the past and the present was accomplished, which should document consequences of such educational approach.
On the basis of findings of the hereinbefore-mentioned descriptive analysis the third part of the dissertation efforts to show possible changes and modifications in the field of approaches to the tuition from the point of view of doing gender.
