Proposal of the methodical scope, which supports quality of information system implementation in condition of company dynamic development
Implementace informačního systému podniku je zásadní organizační změnou. Do značné míry ovlivňuje chod podniku jak v době výběru informačního systému, tak hlavně v době jeho implementace. Klade zvýšené nároky na pracovní čas a nasazení zainteresovaných pracovníků s potřebnou úrovní znalostí z oblasti podnikových procesů a informačních technologií. Za jeden z dominantních vlivů na kvalitu užívání informačního systému v rutinním provozu je považováno právě období implementace, kdy dochází k formování a realizaci představ uživatelů o budoucí podobě informačního systému. Tématem práce je návrh metodického rámce, který by významnou měrou přispěl k eliminaci ohrožujících faktorů a ke zlepšení kvality implementace informačního systému. Práce vychází z řady teoretických zdrojů a také z vlastních poznatků autora, které získal při implementacích informačních systémů v podnicích. Schopnost implementačního týmu rozpoznat potřeby uživatelů, exaktně je definovat a popsat, následně je kvantifikovat a sledovat jejich pokrytí, je jednou z možných cest, jak dosáhnout požadovaného cíle - implementovat informační systém v podniku s minimalizací možných rizik v průběhu implementace a následně při jeho užívání. Za velmi důležité zdroje pro sestavení navrženého metodického rámce jsou považovány teoretické oblasti týkající se řízení lidí a řízení změny v podnikové praxi. Tyto vědní disciplíny s tématem práce velmi úzce souvisí a jsou základními teoriemi, o které se práce opírá. Důležitou kategorií, kterou se práce zabývá, je potřeba podniku. Jedná se o požadavek podniku podložený reálnou představou o činnosti informačního systému tak aby poskytoval informace nezbytné pro provoz a řízení podniku. Práce se zabývá možností kvantifikace stavu pokrytí potřeb podniku před a po provedením implementace IS. Kvantifikace potřeb předpokládá stanovení hodnoty potřeby. Pokud je možné takovou kvantifikaci nalézt a uplatnit, je možné následně měřit samotný přínos implementace informačního systému. Tato kvantifikace potřeb by mohla umožnit tvorbu podkladů k finančnímu vyjádření přínosů a následně umožnit výpočet návratnosti investice do nového informačního systému. V závěru je třeba zmínit skutečnost, že pro provoz informačního systému je neméně důležitá i podpora rutinního provozu. Práce se problematikou podpory informačního systému podrobně nezabývá

Implementation of the enterprise information system is a fundamental organizational change. To large extent, it influences operation of the company both, at the time of selecting the information system as well and decisively during its implementation. It interposes increased demands on working time and appointment of committed workers, equipped with a necessary level of know-how, in the field of enterprise processes and information technologies. Period of implementation is considered to be one of the predominating effects on the quality of information system utilization in routine operations. Formulation and realization of users' conception about future shape of the information system, takes place there. This work subject matter is a proposal of a methodical frame that would, to a significant degree, contribute towards elimination of threatening factors and lead to improving the quality of information system implementation. The work originates from a set of theoretical sources and also, from own observations of the author, gained during the implementation of information systems in companies. Ability of the implementation team to discern needs of the users, define them exactly and describe them, subsequently to quantify them and observe their coverage, is one of possible ways how to achieve the desirable goal - to implement the corporate information system with attendant minimization of possible risks during the implementation, and consequently, during its use. Theoretical field, concerning humane resources management and managing a change in the corporate practice, is considered to be a very important source serving compilation of the suggested methodical frame. The aforementioned science disciplines are linked with the work topic and, they are the fundamental theories on which this work is built. Corporate need is an important category addressed by this work. It relates to the corporation requirement, based on a real conception about the information system activity such that it would provide information necessary for operation and management of the company. This work concerns a possible quantification of the status of covering the corporate needs before and after implementation of the IS. Such quantification of needs presupposes determining the value of the need. In case such quantification could be found and applied, it would be then possible to measure the actual contribution of the implementation of the information system. Quantification of needs could make it possible to create grounds for the financial expression of contributions and, subsequently, to facilitate calculation of the new IS rate of return on investment. In closing it is necessary to mention a fact that for the operation of information system, the support of routine operation is no less important. This thesis does not deal in greater detail with a problematics of support for the information system
