Annotation Pomocí měření dynamických a statických kontaktních úhlů smáčení byly studovány povrchové vlastnosti vybraných syntetických polymerů a vliv aplikace oxidativního nízkoteplotních plazmatu.
Annotation in English Wetting properties of selected transparent synthetic polymers and the effect of oxidative low-temperature plasma treatment have been studied in the means of dynamic and static contact angle measurement. An increase of surface free energy in the range of 90 to 110 % has been observed after 5 minutes of treatment. Contact angle hysteresis has decreased significantly with prolonged plasma treatment, indicating changes towards higher chemical homogeneity of analyzed polymers. To confirm the above mentioned modification and to study the details of colloidal particle adsorption on solid surfaces, impinging-jet method has been employed. An increase of about 10 and 25 % of adsorbed particles per surface area on plasma treated samples has been observed for polystyrene and bismuth vanadate colloidal particles, respectively. Finally, new synthesis routes for bismuth vanadate yellow pigment well-defined crystalline particles have been studied, where special attention was paid to alternative morphology modifying agents, namely alpha-, beta- and gama- cyclodextrines.
