Tématem mojí práce je profesionální vztah mezi pracovníkem pomáhající profese a klientem s duševním onemocněním. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část pojednává o významu vztahu, jeho formách a doporučených postupech usnadňujících vytváření vztahu mezi pracovníkem pomáhající profese a klientem. Praktická část hledá odpověď na otázku: Jaký význam přisuzují pracovníci z jedné organizace pro lidi s duševním onemocněním vztahu s klientem ve své práci a jak tento vztah navazují a rozvíjí?

My thesis deals with the professional relationship between a helping professional and a mentally ill client. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the importance of the relationship, with its forms and recommended practice facilitating establishing of the relationship between a helping professional and a client. The practical part is looking for the answer to the following question: Which importance do the employees of one organization for mentally ill people ascribe to their professional relationship with the client and how do they establish and develop this relationship?
