Práce se zabývá zhodnocením povodní na území Středočeského kraje jako územně správního celku. Popisuje územně správní celek a provádí částečný rozbor řešení při mimořádných událostech, které územně správní celek v minulém období postihly. Dále nastiňuje současný stav a koncepci ochrany obyvatelstva.

Work deals with the appreciation of the floods on the territory of Central Bohemia as a territorial administrative unit.
