Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem dobrovolnických programů občanského sdružení RATOLEST BRNO, které zpestřují nabídku sociálních služeb. Cílem práce bylo představit dobrovolnickou činnost jako jednu z možných cest v prevenci sociálně patologických jevů, zejména v souvislosti s volnočasovými aktivitami dětí a mládeže. V teoretické části se zabývám problematikou motivace, vlivem sociálního prostředí na rozvoj osobnosti jedince, zejména ze tří rizikových skupin: rodina, škola, vrstevnické skupiny. V samostatné kapitole pojednávám o důležitosti volnočasových aktivit v souvislosti s náplní dobrovolnických programů Pět P a LATA občanského sdružení RATOLEST BRNO. V praktické části pak uvádím konkrétní výsledky průzkumu, uskutečněného mezi klienty dobrovolnických programů.

This BA-thesis deals with the significance of volunteer programmes of the non-governmental non-profit organization RATOLEST BRNO that enrich the offer of social services. The aim of this thesis is to present the volunteer activities as one of the possible ways of prevention of the social-pathological phenomena above all in connection with free time activities of children and youth. In the theoretical part I focus on the issues of motivation, influence of the social environment on the development of the personality of an individual from especially three risk-groups: family, school, peer groups. In a separate chapter I discuss the importance of free time activities based on the syllabus of the programmes Pět P (Five P´s) and LATA of the non-governmental non-profit organization RATOLEST BRNO. In the practical part I present the concrete results of the research held within the clients of the volunteer programmes.
