Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zjistit faktory, které ovlivňují uspokojování sociálních potřeb seniorů v rámci konkrétního organizace Domova pro seniory Koutkova v Třebíči. Vymezení základních teoretických pojmů, kterými jsou senior, sociální práce, metody sociální práce, komunikace, jsou obsahem první části. Druhá empirická část mé práce je zaměřena na specifické sociální potřeby (adaptace a sociální integrace seniorů v rezidenčním zařízení, komunikace mezi seniory a sociálními pracovníky, volnočasové aktivity a jejich aplikace pomocí metod sociální práce, rodinné vztahy) a na identifikaci hlavních faktorů, které negativně ovlivňují uspokojování těchto potřeb. Závěrečné kapitoly jsou směřovány, kromě popisu obecných strategií, na konkrétní opatření na základě zjištěných skutečností.

The aim of my thesis is to determine the factors that affect the fulfillment of the social needs of senior citizens within the specific organization of the Koutkova Senior Home (Domov pro seniory Koutkova) in Třebíč. The definition of fundamental theoretical terms, specifically senior citizen, social work, methods of social work, and communication, is the subject matter of the first section. The second, empirical section of my thesis focuses on specific social needs (adaptation and social integration of senior citizens in a residential facility, communication between senior citizens and social workers, leisure time activities and their application through the methods of social work, familial relationships) and on the identification of the main factors that negatively affect the fulfilling of those needs. Besides the description of general strategies, the final chapters focus on specific measures based on the established facts.
