Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vzděláváním zaměstnanců ve Vězeňské službě České republiky. Popisuje vzdělávání pracovníků v této státní instituci. U uniformované části jsem se zaměřil na vzdělání, které začíná po nástupu do Vězeňské služby. Dále jsem podrobně popsal povinné základní odborné vzdělání. Součástí tohoto vzdělání je po třech letech výkonu služby opětné složení služební zkoušky. Další specifickou skupinou zaměstnaců na něž jsem se zaměřil byli občanští pracovníci, na jejichž vzdělání jsou odlišné parametry a dělení nežli u uniformované části. Nakonec jsem se zaměřil na popis následného vzdělání poskytovaného Institutem vzdělání VS ČR ve Stráži pod Ralskem.

This Thesis deals with education of employees in Prison Service of the Czech Republic. It describes the further education in this state organization. Concerning the Prison Service members there is a focus on education after admission to Prison Service. There is also a detailed overview of compulsory vocational training. There is a retake of the duty exam after three years of the service as a part of this training. There is also a focus on civil employees, as there are different requierements on their education compared to Prison Service members´ education. In the final part there is a focus on description of the consecutive training, which is provided by the Institute of Education in Stráž pod Ralskem.
