Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkami stárnutí a stáří, přináší informace o psychických, zdravotních a sociálních změnách v tomto věku a nabízí možnosti, jak prožít aktivně stáří. Dále se zabývá legislativním rámcem, podle kterého se řídí sociální služby a v neposlední řadě se práce zabývá demografickým stárnutí v České republice a v Jihomoravském kraji a následky, které sebou přináší populační stárnutí. Praktická část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení kvality života a spokojenosti se službami z pohledu samotných seniorů.

The submitted bachelor work deals with the questions of ageing and old age, brings information about psychical, health and social changes at this age and offers possibilities how to live the old age in an active way. Further it deals with the legislative framework, according to which the social services are managed and, last but not least, the work deals with demographic ageing in the Czech Republic and Southmoravian Region and the consequences which are brought in by population ageing.
