Diplomová práce se zabývá dospíváním mládeže, časovým vymezením adolescence, vývojovými změnami v období dospívání, interpersonálními vztahy s rodiči a vrstevníky. Popisuje rizikové chování mládeže, faktory, které jeho vznik a rozvoj ovlivňují. Je to například rodina, vrstevníci. V diplomové práci jsou popsány jen základní negativní faktory ovlivňující rizikové chování dospívajících, neboť těchto vlivů je nespočet. Dále poukazuje tato práce na to jak a v jakých oblastech se rizikové chování projevuje. V aplikační části je uveden výzkum názorů a postojů mládeže na rizikové chování vrstevníků, který je proveden formou dotazníku na dvou středních školách.

The thesis focuses on the young, the term of adolescence, developmental changes in the period of adolescence and interpersonal relationships between parents and contemporaries. The work deals with risk behaviour of the young and factors which influence its origin and development (these are for example family and contemporaries). The thesis describes only fundamental negative factors which can have an effect on risk behaviour of the young, since there are ountless numbers of these factors. The attention is also drawn to the ways and fields in which the risk behaviour is shown. The practical part contains a survey of opinions and attitudes of the young to their contemporaries´ risk behaviour, which was carried out at two secondary schools by way of a questionnaire.
