Tato diplomová práce byla zaměřena na problematiku vlivu a možných účinků televize a masmédií především na dětské příjemce. Cílem práce je ověřit vliv masmédií včetně internetu na utváření osobnosti dítěte.
Na začátku jsem fenomén televize a internetu zasadil do širšího vztahového rámce masové komunikace a masových médií s jejich obecnými charakteristikami.
Rozebral jsem témata, která je nutno brát v diskuzi o potencionálních účincích televize a internetu v úvahu ? vlastní obsah, příjemce, televizní publikum. Další kapitoly jsem zaměřil přímo na účinky televize a internetu. Nejprve jsem vyložil teorii mediálních účinků obecně, nastínil vývoj názorů na tuto problematiku a současný pohled na ni. Uvedl jsem některé faktory potencionálně intervenující v procesu působení na dětského příjemce.
V praktické části jsem použil k výzkumu dotazníkovou metodu. Respondenty byli žáci 8. tříd, základních škol v Praze. Celkem se jednalo o 106 žáků, z toho 47 chlapců a 59 dívek.
Lze říci na závěr jeden velmi důležitý poznatek ?Vliv masmédií na osobnost dítěte? je škodlivý do té míry, do jaké připustíme my všichni ? rodiče, pedagogové i celá veřejnost

This graduation theses is focused on problems about the influence of mass ? media and its effect on the psyche of children. The aim is to verify these effects
including the internet on development of child?s personality.
At the beginning I have set this phenomena into much wider framework regarding the mass ? communication and media with its general character.
Then I took apart these themes and took into consideration its effects in relation
to ? its content, recipient, television audience. Therefore, next chapters deal directly with the effects of television and internet. First, I explained the theory of media effects in general and then mentioned the development of different opinions regarding this topic and finally speak about a current view. I also mentioned the factors which in my opinion intervene in this process and effect the child?s recipient.
In practical part I used a method of questionnaire. Respondents were students of 8. grade on primary schools in Prague. Altogether, there were 106 students from which 47 were boys and 59 girls.
In conclusion, there is one very important finding. : ? The influence of mass ? media on personality of a child.? Is only as harmful as we all ? parents, teachers and the whole general public allow.
