Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je volný čas žen v produktivním věku. Zaměřuje se na historii i současný stav rodiny, jakou úlohu ženy v rodině mají, jak zvládají kombinaci pracovní a rodinné zátěže. Vymezuje volný čas, všímá si historických souvislostí mezi volným a pracovním časem a volným časem ve vztahu k rodině.
Předložená diplomová práce je výsledkem šetření, které bylo realizováno technickou časových snímků u výběrového souboru žen v produktivním věku. Průzkum ukazuje, kolik volného času ženy mají, čím se zabývají a jak je volný čas ovlivněn velikostí rodiny, počtem a věkem dětí, vzděláním.

The main topic of Master thesis is free time of women at productive age. It focuses on the history and present state of the family, the role of women in today?s family and how they cope with workload at work and at home. It defines free time and considers historical associations between free time and working time and free time related to the family.
The Master thesis is a result of investigations carried out using a technique of time recording in a population of women at productive age. The survey shows how much time women have, what they do in their free time and how their free time is affected by the size of the family, number and age of children and education.
