Tato diplomová práce na téma "Právní a společenské postavení pachatele a oběti v českém právu" byla zpracována jako kompilace, jejíž obsahová část je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. Autor nejprve pojednává o postavení obou stran (pachatel, poškozený) v trestněprávní rovině, kde současně zmiňuje specifický přístup k mladistvým pachatelům podle zvláštního zákona a dále trestání pachatelů s ohledem na rekodifikaci trestního zákona. V dalších částech se pak věnuje odškodnění obětem trestných činů a na závěr v samostatné kapitole restorativní justici.

This Diploma thesis deals with the theme "Legal and social position of an offender and a victim in the Czech law" It was worked up as a compilation which content is divided into five chapters. The author deals firstly with position of an offender as well as of a victim on the criminal level, where is at the same time mentioned special access to youthful offenders according to particular law and further punishment of offenders with the view to recodification of criminal law. In other parts deals the author with compensation of victims of criminal acts and in conclusion in extra chapter with restorative Justice.
