Diplomová práce Žena versus muž v roli manažera je v současné době aktuálním tématem, neboť žen ve vysokých řídících funkcích stále přibývá. Dochází k velkému posunu v chápání sociálních rolí, v pracovních vztazích a k přijetí celé řady legislativních opatření, jejichž cílem je odstranění genderových nerovností.
Práce poukazuje na postavení ženy ve společnosti, respektive rovnoprávnost obou pohlaví, srovnává sociální postavení muže a ženy, jejich profesní růst, odlišný styl vedení lidí, jejich manažerské dovednosti, rozdíly v komunikaci a zvládání zátěžových situací, které dnes k managementu neodmyslitelně patří.
