Diplomová práce je zaměřena na popis systému práce s delikventními dětmi mladšími patnácti let v České republice ve vztahu k účinnosti zákona o odpovědnosti mládeže za protiprávní činy a soudnictví ve věcech mládeže. Teoretická část obsahuje úvod do problematiky ? definici používaných pojmů, podmínky, příčiny a specifické znaky trestné činnosti dětí mladších patnácti let, stručný exkurz do historie, současný vývoj této problematiky v naší republice, systém práce s delikventními dětmi a popis projektu ?Sytém včasné intervence?. Teoretická část prostřednictvím tří případových studií, které vycházejí ze spisové dokumentace nezletilých klientů kurátora pro mládež, prezentuje způsob práce s delikventními dětmi a mimo jiné uložení opatření podle uvedené právní normy, jako významného prvku v celém systému práce s delikventními dětmi.

My dissertation deals with system of work with offenders under fifteen in the Czech Republic with respect to the application of provisions of Law on youth responsibility concerning the deeds against the law and judicature related to the youth, which is in force as of 1st January 2004. The theory part incorporates the introduction into problems ? definition of applied terminology, definition of wrongdoing, conditions, causes and specific features of penal activities of children under fifteen, the brief excursus into history, current development of these problems within the Czech Republic, the work system with young offenders, the project of System of Timely Intervention.
The theory section in the form of case studies (causalities) represents the way of treatment with young offenders and assignment of provisions pursuant to the stated legal standard as an important element in the working system applied for youth offenders.
