Diplomová práce Mediální obraz žen a mužů v současné reklamě představuje reklamu jako cílený přesvědčovací proces, založený na znalostech marketingu a psychologie reklamy, jímž jsou prostřednictvím hromadné komerční komunikace vyhledáváni neustále noví spotřebitelé a zákazníci.
Přesvědčivě ukazuje, že reklama v České republice současný obraz ženy a muže prezentuje nezřídka na základě zakořeněných genderových stereotypů, přičemž takovou reklamu ženy a starší lidé hodnotí negativně mnohem častěji a výrazněji než muži a mladí lidé.
Autorka diplomové práce, studující obor sociální pedagogika, v závěru diplomové práce vyslovuje přesvědčení, že kromě právní regulace a samoregulace reklamy reklamním průmyslem, by česká společnost na nepříznivou situaci a také nežádoucí dopad reklamy na děti, měla reagovat zavedením výuky mediální výchovy v rámci školních osnov.
