V diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na specifika žen ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Teoretická část popisuje obecně práci vězeňské služby, historii věznění a samotný výkon trestu odsouzených žen a jejich život v podmínkách izolace.
Výzkumná část je zaměřena na ženy ve Věznici Světlá nad Sázavou. Cílem je zjistit, jak tyto ženy snáší výkon trestu a zejména jejich postoj k programům zacházení s možností přípravy na život po propuštění.

In this dissertation I target the specifics of women in the imprisonment. The theoretical part describes the work of Czech Prison Service in general, the history of prison and the imprisonment of convinced women and their life in the conditions of isolation.
The investigate part is pointed to women in the state prison Světlá nad Sázavou. The aim is to find out how these women suffer their punishment and mostly their attitude to the treatment programmes which have the possibility of preparing for life after discharging.
