Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vývoje institutu mezinárodní ochrany v ČR. Zachycuje důležité pojmy ze zákona o azylu. Popisuje proces aplikace zákona o azylu v praxi v souvislosti s řízením o mezinárodní ochraně. Zaměřuje se na žadatele o mezinárodní ochranu a jeho vnitřní pohnutky, které ho vedou k úmyslu žádat ČR o ochranu před pronásledováním. Zachycuje současné postupy státních orgánů vůči žadatelům o mezinárodní ochranu. Snaží se najít sociálně pedagogická východiska při řešení problematiky začlenění azylantů do společnosti. V této souvislosti zmiňuje úlohu dotčených institucí, v jejichž gesci je hájit zájmy společnosti a státu. Součástí práce je i statistika, která znázorňuje trend vývoje migrace cizinců - žadatelů o mezinárodní ochranu.

Objective of this thesis is to track the latest developments in the area of international protection for aliens in the Czech Republic. It covers essential concepts of the Act on Asylum and it describes ways of putting the Act on Asylum into practice with respect to the international protection regulations. The thesis also focuses on the applicant and their intrinsic motivations which make them demand the protection against persecution. It depicts current methods the government authorities enforce in dealing with the applicants for international protection. It strives to establish socio-pedagogical foundations of dealing with the integration of asylum seekers into the society. In this respect it touches on the role of the institutions competent to defend and act in the interest of the society and the country. Last but not least, statistics indicating the developments in aliens migration - the applicants for the international protection, is also included.
