Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kriminality dětí a mládeže jako sociálního problému.
Teoretická část práce přibližuje trestnou činnost dětí a mládeže, zabývá se jejím vývojem, současnou situací, podmínkami a příčinami, dále pak možnostmi v oblasti prevence a detailním rozpracováním oblastí rodiny a jejím výchovným významem.
Praktická část je zaměřena na ověření teoretických poznatků a východisek týkajících se vlivu rodinného prostředí na páchání trestné činnosti mladistvými v konfrontaci s poznatky zjištěnými rozborem jednotlivých zkoumaných případů mladistvých pachatelů trestné činnosti.

The dissertation work deals with the juvenile delinquency as social problem.
The theoretical part of this dissertation describes a criminal activity of children and teenagers, it deals with its evolution, present circumstances, conditions and causes, and thereafter it deals with possibilities in field of prevention and detailed elaborate family’s area and its education importance.
The practical part of this dissertation is concentrated on verification of the theoretical knowledge and solutions concerning the impact of the family atmosphere to commit criminal activity by youth in confrontation with knowledge found out analyses of individual studied cases of juvenile offenders who commit criminal activity.
