Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapování profesní přípravy na povolání příslušníka Hasičského záchranného sboru.
V práci jsou uvedeny základní informace o HZS. Důležitá období jeho vzniku a s tím související právní úpravy. Dále se tato práce zabývá náročností při výběru nových uchazečů, zvláště pak kladený důraz na zdravotní, psychický a fyzický stav. V další části je podrobněji popsáno především sebevzdělávání a sociální zabezpečení příslušníků po ukončení jejich aktivní služby.
V závěru práce jsou shrnuty určité poznatky týkající se budoucnosti HZS.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to map the professional preparation for the job of a fire fighter team’s member.
There is some basic information about the fire brigade given in the paper - important periods of its constitution and related legislation. Then, the thesis discusses the requirements for new applicants with a stress on physical and mental health. In the following part, mostly self-education and social security scheme for the members who have stopped working in the force, is being described in a great detail.
The conclusion then summarizes specific issues concerning the future of the Fire Fighting Organization.
