Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historickým vývojem feminismu, jak ve světovém měřítku, tak v České republice. Podává stručnou charakteristiku tří vývojových vln feminismu ve světě. Dále přináší zevrubné informace o feministickém hnutí v České společnosti od jeho počátků a hlouběji se zabývá tímto hnutím a jeho proudy po roce 1989. Součástí práce je přehled a rozbor vybraných periodik zabývající se problematikou feminismu a gender v České republice. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována přínosu feminismu a gender studies pro oblast sociální pedagogiky.

This bachelor work concerns with historical evolution of feminism, as wordwide as in the Czech Republic. It gives a brief characteristic of three waves of feminism in the world. This also brings basic informations about feministic movement in czech society from its begining and deeply concerns with this movement after 1989. A part of the work is survey of selected periodicals, that are interested in feministic and gender problematics in the Czeh Republic. A special attention is paid to the meaning of feminism and gender studies for social pedagogics.
