Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá podporou Romů v Praze. Mnoho Romů má problémy v oblasti vzdělávání ( nedokončí základní školu) a dále problémy se zvládnutím českého jazyka. Dalším častým problémem je diskriminace a xenofobie. Tyto důvody většinou stojí za nízkou zaměstnaností Romů. Většina z nich je odkázána na dávky sociální podpory.
V bakalářské práci se zabývám projektem EQUAL, který je podpořen a financován z dotací Evropské unie a má pomoci Romům najít své místo ve společnosti a uplatnění na trhu práce. Projekt má řadu aktivit a mohou se ho zůčastnit Romové bez rozdílu věku.

This bachalor theses is about the support of Gipsies in Prague. Most of the Gipsies has got problem with education (they hardly finish elementary education) and with learning czech. Discrimination and xenophobie are other big problems. All these problems cause that most of the Gipsies are unemployed and they rely on the state social and financial support.
I am describing the project EQUAL in my theses. The project is supported and dotated by European Union. It is designed to help the Gipsies to find their place in the society and to find a job. The project offers several activities and is made for the Gipsies of all age groups.
