Bakalářská práce je obsahově zaměřena na preventivní činnost Policie ČR na školách, zdůvodňuje potřebu a nutnost uplatňování preventivně výchovných metod Policie ČR na základních školách. V pěti kapitolách stanoví optimální výchovné metody vzhledem k věkovým a individuálním zvláštnostem dětí, informuje o východiscích výchovy, o východiscích preventivní práce pracovníka preventivně informační skupiny Policie ČR, uvádí příklady realizovaných preventivních projektů. Stanovuje osobnostní a odborné předpoklady pro výkon pracovníka PIS a poukazuje na problémy v oblasti preventivní práce u Policie ČR.

This bachelor thesis is aimed at preventive activities of the Police of the Czech Republic at primary schools. It gives reasons for the need and necessity of applying preventive educational methods of the Police of the Czech Republic at primary schools. The thesis is divided into five chapters in which it sets optimal educational methods taking into consideration the age and individual particularity of children. It informs about the starting point of education, about the starting point of preventive work of the workers of preventive informational group of the Police of the Czech Republic and it gives examples of some already realized preventive projects. It determines personal and professional characteristics needed for the worker of preventive informational group and points out the problems in the area of preventive work in the Police of the Czech Republic.
