Autor v této práci rozebírá příčiny vzniku delikventního chování nezletilců, popisuje jejich motivaci k takovému jednání a strukturu trestné činnosti, které se dopouštějí. Zároveň upozorňuje na dramatický problém zneužívání drog mezi mládeží, včetně stále mladších dětí, na trestnou činnost s drogami související a na růst násilí a brutality mezi mládeží. Statistikami kriminality dokládá neustále se snižující pokles počtu trestných činů páchaných mládeží od roku 1997 až do současnosti a zamýšlí se nad jeho příčinami. Autor dále popisuje aktuální stav systému prevence kriminality v České republice, snaží se zhodnotit jeho fungování a vliv na vývoj kriminality v naší zemi. V závěru je naznačena nutnost i nadále pokračovat ve snahách o co největší omezování kriminality, zejména pak kriminality dětí a mládeže.

In this graduation thesis author broods causes the formation of criminal behaviour, which is patterned with young people, specially for pupils. Author describes their motivation for this act and the structure of criminal activity, which young people commit. He highlights together dramatically problem of drug taking, which is specific for teen-ages, than the author describes to drug criminality and drug addition, increase of violence and brutality among juveniles. This graduation is illustrated with many crime statistics, these statistics instance, that the criminality of young people since the 1997 until 2007 are declined and he pauses on its reasons and causations. The author describes actual degree of criminality prevention system in the Czech Republic, he pursues post - implementation review of this system and its function and influence in development of criminality in the Czech Republic. In the epilogue is indicated the necessity of continuing in recurrence limitation criminality. It is very important to cut down the criminality, especially the criminality of youngsters and juvenile delinquency.
