Setkávání kultur a migrace obyvatelstva jsou trvalými a všudypřítomnými jevy, jež však v dnešním globalizovaném světě nabývají nových rozměrů a podob. Pozornost je věnována legislativě vztahující se k problematice menšin v ČR a EU. Velký prostor je vyhrazen konkrétním informacím o významných etnických skupinách, jež k nám v současné době ve větší míře přicházejí. Rozsáhlejší část je věnována poznatkům soužití Romů s Čechy.
Další části přinášejí základní informace o principech utváření politiky menšin a řešení problematiky soužití formou pozitivní podpory menšin.

The encounter of cultures and migration of population are permanent and omnipresent phenomenon. However, these get new dimensions and images in today s globalised world. The attention is devoted to the legislation related to the problem of minorities in the Czech Republic and EU. There is a large area covering specific information about significant ethnical groups currently arriving at our region. Another part presents the knowledge about the coexistence of the Romanies and Czechs.
Other parts bring basic facts about the principles of the policy of minorities and suggest solutions to the problems with coexistence through positive support of minorities.
