Bakalářská práce na téma ?Práce sestry včera a dnes? popisuje historické souvislosti ošetřovatelského povolání od 70. let 20. století až do dnešní doby. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty změny v sesterské profesi a jejich příčiny, ke kterým došlo v průběhu let. Práce se zabývá způsobem vzdělávání sester i legislativními změnami vztahujícími se k sesterské profesi. V praktické části jsou popsány výsledky průzkumného šetření. Porovnává rozdíl mezi kompetencemi sester v 70. letech 20. stol. a v dnešní době. Na základě dotazníkového šetření je zjišťováno povědomí sester o legislativě týkající se jejich povolání.

The topic of the Bachelor thesis is ?Nursing in the Past and Nowadays?. There is described the historical context of the nursing profession since 70s of the 20th century to the present day. The theoretical part summarizes the changes in the nursing profession which occurred over the years and their causes. The thesis deals with the methods of nurses? education and legislative changes related to the nursing profession. The practical part describes the results of the exploratory investigation. The work compares the difference between the competencies of nurses in the 70s of the 20th century and today. The questionnaire survey looks at nurses? awareness of the legislation relating to their profession.

V teoretické části shrnout historii ošetřovatelského povolání. Popsat změny a jejich příčiny v ošetřovatelské profesi od 70. let 20. století do dnešní doby. Zmínit se o významných osobnostech světového i českého ošetřovatelství, o způsobech vzdělávání sester, vývoji sesterské uniformy, legislativních úpravách vztahujících se k sesterské profesi apod.
V praktické části porovnat rozdíl mezi kompetencemi sester v 70. letech 20. stol. a v dnešní době. Zjistit povědomí sester o zákonech a vyhláškách, týkající se jejich povolání.
S výsledky šetření seznámit odbornou veřejnost.
