Annotation

This three-year study programme trains experts for technical, technological and supervisory positions in food production companies. The study provides students with theoretical education as well as with laboratory experience in the field of general, inorganic, analytical and physical chemistry and biochemistry. The study programme contains basic courses in mathematics, physics, information technology and economics. It focuses on the food chemistry and food analysis, microbiology and food technology, physiology and human nutrition, economics of food production and marketing. The study is completed by the final state examination and a successful defence of the bachelor thesis.

The conditions for admission to study are defined in the Dean's Directive on the Admission Procedure, which is issued annually at the Faculty of Technology. This guideline specifies the requirements for admission in a given academic year and is published on the FT official board (https://ft.utb.cz/o-fakulte/uredni-deska/legislativa-prijimacich-rizeni/).
The condition for admission to study in a bachelor's study programme is the achievement of a full secondary or a full secondary vocational education.
