Educational goals The study is aimed at developing general and specific knowledge of management, enterprise economics and management, production organization and management, social sciences, so the graduates are able to apply them together with engineering methods to the specification and evaluation of results achieved by the integrated manufacturing and nonmanufacturing systems. Students further acquire skills in solving specific tasks related to their Master's thesis through traineeships and work experience gained at industrial engineering departments and professional organizations.
Annotation General knowledge of enterprise economics and management with an emphasis in production management have developed in the technical field (information technology, computer supported entrepreneurship, information systems, and production engineering), the human factor (organizational design of company, work organization, ergonomics, services), design and production management (manufacturing systems design, engineering economy, productivity, performance measurement and system management, design of manufacturing facilities, quality assurance, production planning and control, production-engineering methods, logistics), quantitative methods in decision-making (probability theory, statistics, computer simulation, optimization).
Specialization profile A study programme is aimed to promote the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, research and development and to lead students to apply this knowledge and develop their creative facilities
