Management and Economics Specialization: Management and Economics in Public Sector Administration and Regional Development
Students will acquire the knowledge of regional science, public administration and law, economics and other social sciences. Theoretical knowledge and special knowledge of the field disciplines will encourage the students to use mathematical devices, statistical methods as well as modern information technologies to the extent specified by the needs of administrative and regionalist fields. At the end of the study, the students will extend the knowledge of administrative and regional structures and the essentials of EU law. They will further gain the fundamental prerequisites for understanding the European context of Czech public administration. The tuition of foreign languages also helps graduates to find jobs in the labour market.
Annotation
Students will be well equipped with the basic theoretical knowledge of macroeconomics and microeconomics in terms of economic disciplines, the general theory of law, statecraft and administrative science in terms of administrative and legal disciplines and socio-economic and administrative geography and regional economy in terms of regional disciplines. The theoretical findings are a base for expert knowledge in management, accounting and economy of public sector administration, various fields of law, especially constitutional and administrative law, the theory and practice of territorial administration and local government, regional theory and regional policy.
