Educational goals The study is concentrated on developing knowledge and skills necessary for professional execution of administrative activities and related professions in public administration and regional development. Further, on increasing the degree of adaptability of graduates even in the changing conditions of public administration and regional development institutions by focusing on the synthesis of administrative and regionalistic as well as related economic and legal knowledge and study of comparative issues and European institutions. The tuition is also aimed at social responsibility in relation to society and to individual recipients of the public administration.
Annotation The course is focused on deepening economic expertise, especially in microeconomics, macroeconomics and public economy. Students should acquire knowledge of the legal and administrative science nature in terms of constitutional systems, public administration systems and administrative policy and administrative processes analysis. Furthermore, they will deepen their knowledge and skills in the nature of the regionalist theory of regional development and regional structures of the Czech Republic and Europe. The course will be completed with selected sociological and psychological knowledge.
