Educational goals Actual knowledge on technical research and development of modern mobile computer and communication devices is done. The stress is putted on the mutual convergence of the both lines, till the present time. The connectivity of computer systems gives a new quality by merge of asked computing power, and an ability to communicate. This is the reason of reverse influence to telecommunication services including result economic effect for providers of the services in the form of the wide offer of multimedia communication standardization, without necessity of extensive investments.
Annotation Obor rozvíjí oblast komunikačních systémů spojených s počítačovou technikou. Zahrnuje disciplíny sdělovací techniky s nezbytnou digitalizací zvukových a obrazových signálů. Absolvent nabude přehledu a znalosti nových způsobů zpracování multimédií, zejména kompresí zvuku a obrazu, dále praktické zkušenosti zaměřené na zvýšení rychlosti přenosu, efektivní záznam i nové algoritmy zpracování obrazu a zvuku číslicovými modulacemi, ať již předběžným nebo dodatečným zpracováním signálů. Rozšíření počítačů do oblasti multimédií prodělává dynamický rozvoj. Algoritmy zpracování a jejich technická realizace jsou podporovány vznikem nových doporučení - standardů, jejichž aktuální znalost bude spoluurčovat profil absolventa.

Health requirements - u studentů s těžším zrakovým postižením - za předpokladu disponování vlastního spec. softwaru, s nímž může pracovat ve výuce

Graduate profile The field includes the disciplines of communication technology with the necessary digitization of audio and video signals. The graduate gains an overview and knowledge of new methods of multimedia processing, especially audio and video compression standards, practical experience aimed at increasing the transmission speed, effective recording, and new algorithms for image and sound processing by digital modulation, either by preliminary or additional signal processing. The expansion of computers into the field of communications brings new dynamic development. Processing algorithms and their technical implementation are supported by the emergence of new recommendations - standards, whose current knowledge will co-determine the graduate profile. The profile is further supplemented by the necessary knowledge of mathematics, design, and software creation, which is currently significantly applied in all computer and communication systems areas.

Úspěšně splněný test ze standardní problematiky obsažené v učebních osnovách bakalářských oborů příbuzných oboru z přihlášky uchazeče formou přijímacího testu, délka testu 60 min, maximum 50 bodů, minimum 20 bodů.
