Educational goals The educational aim of this field of study is to train middle-level technical experts with professional profile described below.
Annotation Studenti v rámci tříletého studia získávají základní vysokoškolské vzdělání v teoretických předmětech matematika, informatika a fyzika. Dále pak absolvují předměty v oblasti aplikací IT, teorie systémů, výpočetní a automatizační techniky na úrovni bakalářského studia. Studenti oboru jsou dále vedeni k praktické znalosti a dovednosti ve využívání různých typů výpočetní techniky, jak pro účely tvorby programového vybavení pro informační a databázové systémy v lokálním i síťovém prostředí a pro vědecko-technické výpočty, tak pro účely automatického řízení technologických procesů. Jsou schopni samostatné programátorské práce a rutinní práce s výpočetní technikou.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - upon finishing the filed of study the student is expected to demonstrate the following knowledge:
knowledge of automatic control
programming mobile applications
principles of continuous management
mechatronic systems
PLC programming
principles governing technical forms of automation
principles of embedded systems and microcomputers
technical principles of automation
instrumentation and measurement of technological numerical values
principles of programming industrial systems
Skills - upon finishing the filed of study the student is expected to demonstrate the following skills:
devise highly automated production systems
implement highly automated production systems
apply knowledge relating to the measurement, control and comprehensive automation of production lines and processes
design and implement arrangements of machines and instruments as automated systems
program control systems
devise control systems for automated production lines as a team member
use computer technology to process agendas and information from databases in a network environment
program independently on a computer
use computers for working on systems
create projects for managing production and sales organizations
Competences - upon finishing the filed of study the student is able to:
make decisions independently and responsibly based on the framework of an assignment with just a partially known context

Graduate profile In the field of study "Information and Control Technology," attention is paid to the use of modern methods and principles of technological process control, which represent a significant area of applications of computer technology and modern information technology of all kinds in simple and multi-level computer control systems. Other application areas of technical practice corresponding to the offer of the structure of related study fields in the master's study program of the same name are also outlined.

graduates in the job market
In addition to basic theoretical knowledge, graduates gain practical knowledge and skills in using various types of computer technology to create software information and database systems in local and network environments for scientific and technical calculations and automatic control of technological processes. They can handle independent programming work and routine work with computer technology at the bachelor's level.
Admission requirements The requirement for admission to study is the achievement of a full secondary or a full secondary vocational education (see § 48, paragraph 1 of the Act on Higher Education). Applicants prove it by submitting an officially certified copy of the graduation certificate, which the applicants deliver by post or deliver in person to the FAI Study Department no later than on the day of enrollment in the study. Foreign nationals who did not obtain their secondary education in the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic shall prove it by submitting an officially certified copy of the nostrification clause pursuant to Decree No. 12/2005 Coll. Applicants - foreign nationals (except citizens of the Slovak Republic) who have graduated from foreign high schools or universities (except Slovak schools), prove their readiness to study in the Czech language by submitting an officially certified proof of the graduation exam or state exam in the Czech language or a certificate of Czech language. Applicants must deliver these documents no later than the date of enrollment in the study.
